Saturn Returns: The Private Papers of a Reluctant Astrologer

The "Saturn Return" profoundly changes everyone's life near the ages of 29 and 59. What happens to us then? How can we navigate these tumulturous times of initiation, death and rebirth? And how do we understand the "fated" astrological predictions that challenge us all in these times?

In this "fictionalized memoir" Elizabeth has written a book in two parts: the first is the story about the life of a reluctant astrologer as she makes her way through her Second Saturn Return, at the age of 59. The second part, is the book that Isabelle, the main character, is writing--and this is the non-fiction section on Saturn Returns and Saturn through the signs and houses.

As you follow Isabelle's journey on Beacon Hill in Boston and through sacred sites in Europe, issues of fate, destiny, and astrological prediction emerge and clash. How do we find ourselves and those we love again? How do we remain true to ourselves while holding the tension of opposites within ourself?
